DON’T BELIEVE IT!!!!
I just got riped-Off for 130 bucks from their “SO-CALLED” Rebate Program.

Their ads state you get $25 for one tube and $50 if you get 2 tubes,
BUT, (as always), the lawyers have put in the fine print so they NEVER have
to pay it out.

If you have ‘any’ type of Medicare/Medicaid/’or’ ANY other state or federal insurance
program (EVEN IF THEY DON’T PAY A DIME/(Claim denied) ), just having that
coverage is their way of getting out of paying out the rebate!

OH! Here’s another good one — How much do you get for all that money?!?!?!
Each tube= 30g or 1.06oz so for a 130 bucks you get a whole 2.12 OUNCES!!!

If you are treating any large area and you’re applying it twice a day; those two tubes
WILL NOT last you a month!! And you’ll need to use this ‘stuff’ for
at least 6 months or more!

This means you can plan on spending about a thousand bucks out of YOUR Pocket
and “NO” guarantee that it will work.

Boy! Has this been an interesting two weeks of learning/RE-Learning
about the latest AV Programs out there, and “IT’S BEEN A COSTLY
LESSEN!”

Did I get hammered, no thanks to Avast5.

First it let in one of those “fake anti virus” that takes over your
computer and labels everything as corrupted with hundreds of
pop-up screens/blocks all updates/blocks your browser so it’ll
only go to ‘their’ chosen sites, (Many are porn).

It took me about 6 hours to clean up the mess, (I’m still finding a
few files here and there.) (OH! and you can forget about your ‘restore
points’ as they are totally useless now.)

Then on this other computer it lost all ability to protect my emails,
(In and Out), BUT! That didn’t stop Avast5 from loading up my
taskbar with dozens of notices tell me that it can’t protect me, a lot
of good that does.

Well Avast5 must have screwed up 10′s of thousands of computers
because their next update was a “MAJOR” over kill!

They locked down everything!
You can’t configure any settings or options even as Admin.
They have taken total control.
Shut off sound files/notices — NO (If you leave your computer on
24/7 like I do You will have an automatic alarm clock set to about
4 AM to 5 AM every morning. That’s when it turns your speakers
to full and screams at you that Avast5 has been updated.)
Tell it your computer is online 24/7 — NO
Tell it to auto-update it’s own program — NO
etc.
etc.

GEEE!?!?! This is starting to look and sound just like the ‘faked’ AV
virus I got rid of.

OH YEAH! Here’s another good one…. Avast5 decided that two
Microsoft DLL files were also viruses so it deleted them, now I get
errors after every reboot and I can’t find replacement for them, not
even from MS.

Support??? One form email — no farther replies.

Needless to say Avast is no longer on any of my machines.

Bounce Dryer Sheets, And We’ve just been putting Bounce in the dryer.

    1. It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them.

    2. It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don’t get opened too often.

    3. Repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season. (You might add one in your shirt collar as well.)

    4. Eliminates static electricity from your television screen. Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling, wipe your television screen with a “used” sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling.

    5. Dissolve soap scum from shower doors. Clean with a sheet of Bounce.

    6. Freshen the air in your home. Place an individual sheet of Bounce in a drawer or hang in the closet.

    7. Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through sheet before beginning to sew.

    8. Prevent musty suitcases. Place an individual sheet of Bounce inside empty luggage before storing.

    9. Freshen the air in your car. Place a sheet of Bounce under the front seat.

    10. Clean baked-on foods from a cooking pan. Put a sheet in a pan, fill with water, let sit overnight,
and sponge clean. The antistatic agent apparently weakens the bond between the food.

    11. Eliminate odors in wastebaskets. Place a sheet of Bounce at the bottom of the wastebasket.

    12. Collect cat hair. Rubbing the area with a sheet of Bounce will magnetically attract all the loose hairs.

    13. Eliminate static electricity from venetian blinds. Wipe the blinds with a sheet of Bounce to prevent dust from resettling.

    14. Wipe up sawdust from drilling or sand papering. A “used” sheet of Bounce will collect sawdust like a tack cloth.

    15. Eliminate odors in dirty laundry. Place an individual sheet of Bounce at the bottom of a laundry bag or hamper.

    16. Deodorize shoes or sneakers. Place a sheet of Bounce in your shoes or sneakers overnight.

    17. Golfers put a Bounce sheet in their back pocket to keep the bees away.

If you have any other tips? Please post them in the comments.

Bill

It never fails… Week after week — day after day I get hammered with sales from the GRUUUROO’s that “HAVE THE ANSWER” to make you filthy rich over night, if you just buy their super-duper widget.

“My ‘WIDGET’ will do everything to make you wealthy — make your morning coffee – and service you breakfast in bed… and it ‘ONLY’ 297/397/497/997/1997/ etc…etc.”

I even watched this so-called marketing woman yak for 90 minutes and then without batting an eye asked for $9,997.00 For ‘HER SYSTEM’!!!

But what really amazes me is that most after just two weeks go by:

A) It’s now selling on eBay for 5 bucks

B) The ‘system/technique’ doesn’t work any more

C) They NEVER mention it again.

D) They’re sell some ‘new’ widget!

I wonder how many actually ‘READ’ the disclaimers, (you know that fine print in faded out gray type so you either can’t read it or just ignore it.)

In short, it’s basically: “I lied; the only one who’s going to be making any money is me because you were stupid enough to buy this crap.”

I ran across one of the “FEW” honest guru’s articles about how he was at one of the hyped up seminars and the guy was there selling his super-widget email program and the people were fighting to throw their money on the table for a copy…. The Honest Guru ask the other … aahh? person? Why he did that? and didn’t he know that technique of emailing didn’t work any more??? He’s reply: “Sure! But a got a garage full of the crap and I got to get rid of it!”

Another GRUUROOO said he paid only $250 to get an ebook ‘AND’ the sales page written by a ghostwriter and made over a million bucks thru hype! (It wasn’t worth 10 bucks — OH Right! You never sell anything for even money, It’s always has to end in a “Seven” ($9.97))

Then you’ve got the “CLONE PEOPLE — THE COPY CATS”; They take whatever is ‘hot’ that week — buy a copy, (And many times it’s thru their own affiliate links), then ship it off to a freelancer to tare it apart and make their own cloned copy with less features. And again sell it at a hyped up price. (There’s one guy in the UK that’s done that several times. He made one cloned product, (totally buggy)… made 1.5 million and left everyone sitting while he went on holiday to India. About 3 to 4 months later he was at it again.)

OH! For all of you out there trying to make it in the marketing business — You ever get those emails that say: “Sell my widget and keep 100% of the money, Paid directly to your PayPal account!”

Well guess what?! You do that and you just built up that guy’s eMail List and not YOURS! Cause ‘HE/SHE’ gets the customer’s name and email address not you!

One guy lost hundreds of his customers, cause the GRUUROO he was promoting/selling for got all the names and email addresses of his list.

And that brings up another point that ‘piss me off’ — You’ve PAID for the product, BUT you can’t have it until you give them your name and email address…. in a sense hold something you’ve already paid for for ransom. If You don’t put the info in there; you can’t download the product even thou you’ve paid for it!

YES! There are still a few good/honest marketers out there, but they are dam hard to find.

Well the brain dead 9,000 pound eBay gorilla does it again.

First they killed off all sales of eBooks and downloadable materials in regular auctions and told the sellers that they had to use their ‘eBay Classified Ads’ feature to sell their digital products.

Their (eBay), claim is that it would be cheaper for the seller and that for the small fee of just 10 bucks for an entire month, they could sell as many products without any limits, (as in an auction you had to put in how many items where available), and they would not have the cost of the “Auction Listings and Final Value fees”.

Well now, That’s all fine and good, until they just ‘Blind Sided’ the seller AGAIN with the new restrictions for the Classified Ads.

You CAN NOT have a “Buy it Now” button in your ad.
You CAN NOT have a link to your website to buy your product.
You CAN NOT have an opt-in box.

SO!!!??? What good are those classifieds?!?!?

You have noway of closing the sale.
You can’t get them to your website.
You can’t get their contact info.

SO! What am I (The Sellers), paying for!?!?!?!

OH YEAH!!! TO PUT MILLIONS MORE INTO EBAY’S WALLET AND REMOVE IT FROM THE SELLERS WALLET!!!

It sure makes me want to go right out and place dozens of worthless ads on eBay!!!

!!!!NOT!!!!

PS: If you want to read about this on eBay have fun trying to find it — It’s buried (Hidden), deep inside eBay’s Workshop posts by ‘Trust and Safety’.
